Just come back from a week's stay there. Georgous cabin in beautiful surroundings and stunning scenery with horse's rabbits and birds. Even though the cabin is overlooked by the owners house they leave you alone but are very friendly and helpful when needed. The hot tub is amazing with mood lights and is hidden at the back so not overlooked by the house and private. We enjoyed looking at the stars at night with a glass of wine! The only thing missing was a welcome pack and oven gloves! Our holiday was originally booked last year but due to the first lock down had to be rearranged and Margaret the owner was really understanding and accommodating in ensuring our stay was rearranged and was flexible in working around dates for us. Even though the bathroom is outside its literally just a stride away from the bedroom and is modern and has underfloor heating. We would highly recommend this cabin and will definitely be returning!! We were sad to come home.

Perfect place to relax and unwind. Even in the colder months, the cabin is warm. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights costing £230(which i didnt think was worth that price maybe about £120) 31st-2nd jan we stayed.
It was a small cosy cabin, smaller than what I thought but its was ok, suited me and my partner. The living room was lovely, nice sofas and telly, but stain on the foot stall which was hidden by a tray.
As well as the kitchen, its not much of a kitchen, there was no hot water to wash up with only cold, only these portable hot plates which we had to try and cook on(didn't enjoy that) No oven. The washing up sponge looked a few months old (should of been new)
No tea bag, sugar and coffe. (should of been supplied) there was cobwebs under the sink where the saucepans where.
The bedroom, lovely, cant fault that.
However there was only a little heater to heat up the room and because youve got to go outside from the bedroom to the toilet it gets cold and takes time to heat up.
The r bathoom, isnt in the cabin, its outside opposite the hot tub. Which is annoying a little since it was - 1 in the night and you need to put coat on to go to the toilet. But beautiful bathoom, lovely shower, nice heated floor. But since the bathroom is outside its clear that it has mould issues and its visible in the bathroom.
The hot tub was the best bit about the cabin, its lovely and big, clean, changes colour of the lights.
Over all i expected better, to pay £230 and it didn't have the basic essentials, there's a bbq outside and doesnt come with nothing.
When me and my partner looked to go and stay somewhere we don't expect to bring out home and kitchen with us as well. Weve stayed in many cabins and it comes with absolutely everything,
I highly suggest looking at red wood lodge near wales, its absolutely beautiful! Comes with absolutely everything and dont need to bring any everyday essentials.
Also the owner didnt seem very polite in text, no thankyou or pleases. And when i texted her saying thankyou for a lovely stay all i got was ok. i will not be coming back!

Lovely clean, tidy cabin with a real warm, homely feel. Stayed at the start of November when there was quite a chill in the air. Heaters worked perfectly within. Bathroom is a step across the courtyard but finished to a high standard and lovely and warm for when you've jumped out the hot tub. Bed is super comfy!

Stayed at Yealm Cabin first week in July. There was plenty of room inside and set in an absolutely lovely and peaceful setting.
The top notch shower room is detached but no more than 2 steps away and as it was right next to the wonderful hot-tub it allowed you to dry off without getting the cabin floor all wet.
With regards to the hot tub, excellent. Water was always "hot" no matter what time of the day we tried it, and certainly soothed the body after a day walking.
There is no cooker (who wants to go away a slave over cooker anyway but two excellent independent hot plates, never seen a kettle boil so fast.
The walk to the pub is very enjoyable with no cars to worry about. The local village has two very nice, but different pubs to try, both serving food.
Chinese takeaway will deliver direct to cabin if you fancy the night in watching television.
Quite a few dog friendly beaches nearby, Plymouth 10 mins and Paignton/Torquay less than 50 minutes.
If you are looking for a relaxing time away, you will struggle to find a better cabin and a cheaper price anywhere is Devon.
Well recommended and the hosts were very friendly but discreet.

Absolutely loved staying here with my family. Felt like we were a world away from anywhere. The owners do not bother you but are available if you need anything. Nice and warm, WiFi works well if that’s what you want. Hot tub was amazing. Towels are provided, BBQ outside for the summer months. Bathroom is separate from the cabin but literally two strides away by the hot tub. Would deffo stay again. Peaceful and relaxing.

I stayed at this gem of a cabin in April with my brothers and as you can imagine it was cold outside but toasty inside. we had the treat of a luxurious hot tub to enjoy outside and a chic toilet/shower room right next to the hot tub so we could all shower and dry up before returning to our toasty cabin. the views were magnificent and we caught the sun outside the front of the cabin for most of the day. we enjoyed seeing the horses come up to the fence and barbecued all the time. the hospitality was world class and the owner posted me a kindle I left behind free of cost despite my offer to pay for it. this said it all. after the most amazing time out in the open (free range) with majestic views of the country side, our hosts took it the next level. we strongly recommend the wild walk to the pub they recommend nearby. its a good walk but let me emphasise the grade of nature walk you will enjoy....we have lived overseas and travelled the world and got to the pub feeling that this might just be our favourite walk of all time. you pass streams/rivers and head into the unknown...you get to appreciate all the details of the surrounding countryside in private and when you reach the pub...you think it can't get better...but it does...amazing food and drinks...friendly staff and the enjoyable walk back in solitude. nothing beats this adventure and I hope everyone can feel what we felt. we have recommended this highly and plan to return with our families in the near future. the hot tub was the most amaxing bonus to an already perfect spot. if you want more luxuries, there are plenty of other clamping options...but you would give up the views, the hospitality, the solitude, the hot tub, the nearby pub and legendary walk. don't pass this up. try it for yourself. big thanks to our hosts and see you again soon!!!

Myself and partner stayed at this beautiful cabin on 2.2.19 to 5.2.19 as our flight was cancelled and we still wanted to have a lovely weekend after searching for somewhere relaxing all day we came across this hidden gem and booked it immediately.
Margaret got back to us within the hour and approved our booking and we headed up.
Our first impressions were fabulous as we entered the cabin it was clean warm and cosy overlooking endless hills it was breath taking. Margaret then popped down to introduce herself and gave us lots of information on things to do whilst we stayed which was great.
There was also a pack of Devon fudge left for us with tea coffee sugar there aswell as comfy clean bedding towels cleaning products and toilet roll..
The hot tub was clean and very relaxing the temperature was great and the lights gave off a lovely relaxing vibe..
Margaret thank you for making us feel so welcome and at home will be lovely to return in the summer with our tribe next time.

It's just a big shed, like glamping but without the glamour. Not much fun in cold weather.
